Americredit is no good!

We purchased a truck in 07, and things were going good until my wife got sick, and my 3 week old son died.

I made arrangements to make payment with Americredit and on the day I western unioned my payment and called in the mtcn number too them.

They did not inform me that they were sending the Repo truck, and later that night they came and got my truck.

I called them while the repo man was there and they told me that they had not received my payment yet, but they had on record the mtcn number.

So the repo man took it, and so when they got the payment they offered to decrease the balance of my loan, and not send back my truck.

The next time I bought a car I made sure that Americredti was not the lender and I have reported them to the BBB.

Written by , on 03-01-2009 09:42 The above story is so true, I seen it happen with my ex, He westerned unioned the money and they took his truck the next day, they say they forgot to call, to get your vehicle back just go file bankruptcy, you will have it back and with terms of the court, lower or no interest for up to 5 years. Written by prowler99, on 29-12-2008 13:33 more to this story than you're telling us, americredit would have not repoed your truck for just being a little late on one payment, you were at least 3 payments behind. pay your bills deadbeat, i'll be watching it being repo on monday nite on true tv.
