I am one payment behind with AmeriCredit/GM Financial and I've spoken to a representative work out a payment plan with them. However, I still receive 4-8 calls per day from their representatives telling me the same information that I already know, but better yet, I've responded to them and they never seem to have the correct notes on the situation.

I even asked them to call me during a certain time so that I could take their phone calls due to my line of work and they continuously call during any time other than the time that I am available. I will not return their phone calls because they won't the answer to a question that I have answered a number of times to multiple representatives and after being told that my arrangements were okay, I can't help but think that they're going to go back on their word and have no record of it. It amazes me how their issues all seem to work in their favor, and that they have no recollection on anything that I speak with them about. The representatives have been really snappy with nasty attitudes and one even suggested that I borrow the money or ask that another bill be deferred like my utilities bill so that I could pay them for the month that I missed and then I could maybe figure out the rest of my bills or maybe I just couldn't afford the vehicle because I'm one payment behind and already made an arrangement on how to make it up.

I hate that I even got involved with this company. Anyone else going through this?

Avoiding answering the calls (from any creditor) will only makes it worse. They will put a hold on calls if you follow thru on your commitments.

If you don't, you get the calls. Simple as that.
